Georg Ambros

Georg Ambros fought in the very last days of Tekalia. During the planets evacuation, some factory members tried to push back the assaulting tyranid masses.
Ambros became famous among the men, when he pinned the last gaunt (of this wave) with his flag on the ground. His men resisted the attack nearly 71 hours with no rest or backup and so made the launch of the evac freighter 9345-98-A-449 possible. They saved this way over 5000 souls of tekalian civillians.
Georg died shortly after these pictures where taken of prostration.

This is my birthday present for the girl, that made my banner. She asked me some times ago, if I could make her just the paper banner to show off - now she gets "Georg Ambros", named after the holy Georg (Dragonslayer, Saint, Poser). Ambros is an old german surname, wich means "divine", or "immortal".
